PC a internet MS Windows Vista SP1

Microsoft tento týden dokončil Service Pack 1 pro Windows Vista, odeslal jej do výroby a za několik týdnů by měl být k dispozici ke stažení přes Windows Update.

V tuto chvíli lze stáhnout z Windows Update verzi RC Refresh 2, která by mohla být téměř totožná s RTM. Pokud byste chtěli tento update stáhnout, je třeba provést drobnou změná v registry a po restartu PC bude SP1 k dispozici.

reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\VistaSp1 /f
reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\VistaSP1 /f
reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\VistaSp1 /v Beta1 /t REG_SZ /d dcf99ef8-d784-414e-b411-81a910d2761d /f

Zároveň s tolik očekávaným SP1 pro Windows Vista dokončil Microsoft i MS Windows Server 2008 také jej předal do výroby. Trial verze pro testování je k dispozici třeba tady: http://www.microsoft.com/uk/heroeshappenhere/learn-more/downloads/default.mspx .
